Privacy Policy

The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to explain what personal data Shaw Sheet Publications Ltd (‘SSP’) holds in respect of subscribers to the Shaw Sheet magazine (‘Subscribers’), what it uses such information for and how it safeguards the same.

Personal Data Held

The personal data SSP holds in respect of Subscribers is their:
(i)    name;
(ii)   address;
(iii)  email address;
(iv)  occupation.

This information is obtained when Subscribers register with SSP.

Use of Data

The personal data is used by SSP only for the purposes of:

(i)   notifying Subscribers of the publication of the latest edition of the Shaw Sheet and its content;
(ii)  informing Subscribers of developments in relation to the Shaw Sheet;
(iii) analysis of our services and reader demographics.

SSP does not share the personal data with any other organisation.

Rights

Subscribers have the right to request to see the personal data held by SSP in respect of them and to have it amended or deleted.  Any such request should be addressed to the Editors of the Shaw Sheet.

Security

The personal data held by SSP is encrypted for security.  It is held on servers, including servers in the United States of America, owned and maintained by our web services provider, GoDaddy.  GoDaddy state that they maintain all data in compliance with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) of the European Union.  Further details of GoDaddy’s policy are available at https://uk.godaddy.com/agreements/showdoc?pageid=PRIVACY.

Period held

A Subscriber’s personal data is deleted by SSP upon he or she ceasing to subscribe to the Shaw Sheet.
